There are mornings when the hardest thing isn’t getting started…it’s staying.
Staying with your thoughts. Staying in the quiet. Staying when nothing is resolving, shifting, or making sense.
This poem came out of one of those mornings. When everything in me wanted to run, but I stayed. And God met me there.
In a quiet moment, a simple image emerged: God is like gravity. Steady, present, and holding us long before we remember to reach. Beneath the noise and effort, that presence remains. This poem is a gentle invitation to return to it.
